Marriage Retreats

Tim and Sandy have a passion to help restore and strengthen marriages; particularly with leaders.  The focus of their work is not just helping leaders in the workplace; it is also helping them to develop Leadership in the Home.  As a coach and mentor to leaders, they have successfully coached countless couples through hurts, misunderstandings, and seemingly irreconcilable relationships.

After 14 years and in the process of raising 4 children, they are more in love now than the day they were married.  Along they way, they have learned invaluable and easy to apply principles regarding communication, resolving conflicts, truly understanding and respecting each other, and raising children in a Godly manner.  In addition, both have observed their parents work successfully through all kinds of difficult situations while raising large families (Tim is one of 11 children, Sandy is one of 5).

In their often humorous, always practical hands-on experiential learning (with exercises and applications that even the men will enjoy and benefit from!), and no issue is too sacred to avoid presentations, they are able to give each couple key walkaways they can immediately apply, regardless of what condition their marriage is in.  Although they are open to tailoring the presentations as the pastor or meeting coordinator requests, here are some of the subjects they can include:

• What shuts down communication and how to establish consistent and meaningful interactions
• Damaging role relationship tendencies and how to establish a healthy, mutually respecting structure in the home
• The missing ingredient is not necessarily love . . .
• Inexpensive but not cheap ways of keeping fun in your marriage and family
• Establishing a mutually beneficial Disagreement Model to follow (for those rare occasions when couples do not agree . . .)
• Lessons both of Sandy and Tim wished they would have learned in our first year of marriage
• Mandatory Terms of Endearment
• Healing past hurts and reconciling impasse issues
• Questions and Answers (ANYTHING goes!)  This is usually the favorite session!!
